Real Estate Fees and Disbursements

 

The prices below include all disbursements including title insurance.  Ministry of Finance registration charges ($74.72 including HST for each Transfer/Deed, Mortgage or other document that we are required to register on title) are extra.  Ontario (and, if applicable, Toronto) Land Transfer Taxes charged by the government are extra, but there is a rebate available for first-time buyers.  Please note that transactions closing within 15 days of receipt of the Agreement of Purchase and Sale, or mortgages/refinancings where lender's instructions are received within 7 days of closing are subject to additional charges*

 
Durham Region Real Estate Lawyers

$750 Plus Disbursements plus HST

for purchase with one mortgage.

 

Estimated amount of disbursements would be $700 and includes title Insurance
(property valued up to $500,000 ), government registration charges, title search
plus usual administrative costs.

   
Oshawa Real Estate Lawyers

$650 plus disbursements Plus HST.

 

Estimated amount of disbursements is $200 and includes the discharge of one
mortgage plus usual administrative costs. Debt payouts will be subject to additional
charges.

   
Oshawa Mortgage Lawyers

$600 plus disbursements Plus HST.

 

The amount of disbursements is dependentupon the requirements that are contained
in the mortgage instructions. A general estimated amount is $325 and includes the
payout of 1 mortgage, title insurance ( mortgage amount up to $500,000 ), 2 debt
payouts plus usual administrative costs. Additional debt payouts will be subject to
additional charges.

If your purchase price exceeds $500,000 or if you are buying outside Durham Region, additional disbursements may apply. Any deliveries of documents that cannot be emailed can be brought to the rear door of the office between 9 am and 5 pm. If you intend to drop off any documents, please call our receptionist to let her know. Please ring the bell at the back door and someone will be with you.
